if you're moving to VA and applying for a Driver's License, make sure you bring with you the following documents:

1. Proof of Identity;
2. Legal Presence;
3. Proof of Virginia Residency;
4. Proof of SSN; and
5. Proof of Change of Name

i went to our local DMV last April 19 and couldn't apply for one as i have no proof of Virginia Residency as yet. will try to go back tomorrow and bring with me the 2007 tax return we filed last april 15 as well as the check refund we got from the mail....keeping my fingers crossed that i can finally get one this time around.
