For people who have had afternoon interviews at Vancouver, when the next day do they want you to pick it up? We're trying to arrange a vacation on Vancouver Island around the interview, so there is a difference in which ferries we can take.

Thanks.
MissStacey
Unless they tell you differently, pick up is normally 2 pm.

Oh poo. That's what I thought, but I was hoping that was for people with morning interviews picking it up the same day. That means we can really only safely plan on taking the 5 pm ferry. Well, better to know that ahead of time.

Thank you, Stacey!

Yup, both times we went back to the Consulate it was after 2 pm. Although, you can be there a little bit early, they don't usually mind that, or at least they didn't when we were there.

I'm sure this has been asked a thousand times...
Just to clarify ... if my interview is at 1pm on Thursday, it is the norm that I can pickup my passport on Friday after 2pm?
Also, what is the other option if I don't want to wait an extra day for it?

Thanks!

Meridien
I just had my interview this past Tuesday at 1:00pm. Sure enough, I had a 2:00pm pickup the next day. I did show up about 15 minutes early and they let me in no problem, I was in and out in 5 minutes or so. If you don't want to (or can't) wait until the next day you can bring a prepaid ExpressPost envelope and they will mail it to you. I don't think there is any way to get it the same day.
