Chet, according to other Vj postings, those who ask for their congressperson or senator's help and are not out of their timeline, will usually not get the help. Some are told this and to contact them when they are out of the timeline.
Now what others have gotten help thru some of their constituents after the 6 months have passed. So, which is it? Don't know.. but according to your timeline and depending on when u asked for their help.. this might be why you did not get them to step in yet. VSC is not really approving lots of K-3's the trend is to adjudicate the I-130. let's hope you won't need their help and u get approved soon.

IM GETTING IMPATIENT IN VSC cos my case is still Pending... I cant understand why they dnt process the 130 cos there is lots of family living far apart to each other??????????

At least the rep DID back up my feeling that the dope on the phone from USCIS who recommended I file for K3 was WRONG. She said she wouldn't recommend doing that at all at this point.

I tried to get her to give me some kind of timeline... 5 years? 10 years? never? she wouldn't budge... no idea she said.

Its a conspiracy. They are all hiding some big secret. A royal screw up. Although i do feel better that a sept. filer was FINALLY approved... it seems like maybe they might be starting to backtrack and hit all of us that they missed.

That Sept. Filer was a K1 I thought? I havent seen any CR/IR1 I 130s approved since Amaster. If they keep their filing dates at July 30th when they update the processing times im going to scream. I need to just relax and focus on my upcoming trip to Brazil but I just cant. I have been getting back in to working out though, trying to atleast get back to 140 pounds. I lost 30 pounds from stressing over this and it does not look good, I still have to force myself to eat though. I just dont get hungry. I really would like it if that the people at USCIS could see and understand the stress that they create on the people that are waiting. It would be nice if they would have a heart and understand that the frustrations that some people might have because they didnt get their citizenship in time to vote or the companies have to wait a few more months to bring over that new employee are nothing compared to the heartache we all have to live with day by day for an unknown amount of time.

If you read the ombudsman's report you'll see that USCIS responds in a way that is deliberately evasive. There's something very rotten in that organization. They behave like guilty parties, obfuscating truth. Double-talk, lies, nonsense.

I am just not understanding all the crap they are putting us through. I am one of those poeple who contacted my congressman and Senator but that is becuase I am 239 days into this and know nothing.
I am trying to be positive and hold on to hope but this is crazy. I called immigration AGAIN yesterday and they told me that by Monday the website will be updated with new processing dates and the dates should change dramatically. We will see. It seems like they are refusing to approve anymore cases. Good luck everyone.

A march K3 filer in California just got approved. I just can't understand why the big discrepancy.

I cant either , it made me so sad to look at CSC on the forums immigration timelines yesterday. Wondering if I should move to CA and then send in a new pettition.

There are some more approvals with march NOA 1 from CSC and that too they are approving both I130 and 129F.

I'm also thinking that ishoulsd move california and apply again. I really really hope that VSC wakes up start approving all the petitions till today's date. Why we have live apart from our spouses.

I just don't know what to tell to my husband about VSC except it's a piece of CRAP organization.

Once a while, he asked me if i hear anything and all i could do is to give him false hopes that it'll be sooner than we think.

How could it be fraud if it were legal?

(The flaw of course is that it would take just enough time to get a divorce such that the CR1 would be granted on the very day that the divorce becomes final. USCIS Rule #23.)

The gap between CSC K-3 filers and IR-1/CR-1 filers is still growing. I filed my stand alone I-130 in January, I don't get why mine would be skipped over someone who filed in March, but then again, there is not any type of system they go by. None of it makes sense.

Well wrote earlier about my frustrations and contacted my congressman on friday and got approval on Monday. I applied for K-1 (I know not a K-3 many are waiting on) on Sept. 07, 2007. Other coincidence was that when I contacted the USCIS in April after 7 month wait on a friday they sent me a RFE on the following Monday. Well anyways I am approved now I have to figure out what comes next. My lawyer says it will be 30-45 days before they get information from NVC. I think they do not know what they are talking about. I knew they would deny me, if they denied people with deaths in their families, you know that the reason to expedite must be grand. Something like a corporation CEO's son is out of money or something like that.

Hi Fellows, somehow as i read all these stories from this forum you made me smiled, laughed and forget the frustrations of getting a positive developments to our case/s respectively. This never ending horror experiences of waiting for the approvals from VSC, creates so much depression to us. Hopefuly, Vermont will fast track the processing already. Goodluck to all of us. I was part of that group who got two touches in a row at the start of the month. I just got another one today, but no change to my status. As ever I hope its not going to be an RFE...!
