I did not include my or my wife's birth certificate since it was not in the instructions. Should I expect RFe for this?

NO, NO ,NO ,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! was I suppose to put copy of husbands birth cert. if petition?????????????? I missed that completely. For all the nice people out there, hide your eyes, ####!!!!!!!!!!!! Dumb ---!! ranting33va.gif As soon as I get home , I'm getting a stiff drink and pulling instructions, for I used the old form which was still excepted at time of my filing, I still have filing instructions , and luckily had some damn brains, and copied petitons twice, thank God, CAUSE NEW I-130 instructions is a tad different.
Now decisions: Crown Royal or Jack Daniels??????

My Hubby is from Philly .... that's so cool, if you start a pasty shop let me know, and I'll come by specially when I'm up there sometime if I'm approved before 2058.
I'm moving there with a Kernow flag, just to see what comments I get.
USCIS obviously have absolutely no idea what us Cornish people are sacrificing for love no0pb.gif Cornwall is truly beautiful and bloody good fun!!!

Oh Sarah! He's from Philly, great !!!

Is that good ??
We're going to be living in Atlanta for a while, but will be up to Philly to see the family occassionaly. The scenery around there is very like England I noticed.

Oh no! I fear I've caused everyone to start worrying about RFE's. Please dont! I'm sure this doesnt happen to everyone. I just got unlucky and hopefully it's resolved quickly anyway.
Thanks for the support Sarah. One day soon I will be flying the Kernow flag in Pennsylvania and introducing the locals to Pastys!

Lotofpatience, No not much of a drinker, but Im seriously considering it to kill the pain and heartache of this process, and to kill the feeling of hopelessness with USCIS and the loneliness being away from my wonderful husband, for we have only been married 167 days, and only had 9 days for our honeymoon, last time I saw him was Dec. 2 when I came home to Houston, the sadest day of my life and still is. For Im losing my spirit with this whole process.

Hey Sarah! No way! I love Philly - the Phillies rock!
My wife and I will be living just outside Reading PA, I have thought about opening up a pasty shop - think the locals would love them. If I ever do you and your husband will be guests of honour in our shop. Think I'll be a PE teacher first though. I'm sure you'll be over there soon, it's just right now is hell for all of us.
Let the Cornish invasion of PA commence!

So everyone from Philly can pay the toll and go over the bridge to Jersey.....

Do you think they'll accept dyslexia as a good reason for submitting a crappy put together package with no plastic bags or certified copies .... or a small bullock and a virgin??

Because I can send them that too ....

So, I understand you'll be about 45 mins or so away from where I'll be visiting sometimes .... that's very cool! Yes, I think the locals would love pastys, and Kip and I will definately come and sample your wares ... guests of honour ... thank you.
Maybe you could franchise it out to other Cornish folk around the US ??? .... you'll need to have them apply with certified copies of their birth certificates rofl.gif rofl.gif and RFE them if they send you a photocopy.
I love Cornwall and am very proud of my heritage ... I spring from Falmouth and am going to miss my wild nights out and the beach dreadfully ... but Kip is worth every bit of this process, I wouldn't be without him ... and it doesn't matter how long this takes, as I'd rather wait to be with him than be with anyone else. It's nice to see there's so many other people going through all this, and that at the end of the day, we prove that we love our spouses soooo much, because we are willing to go through hell to be with them good.gif

Atlanta is actually ok, I'm going to miss the beach as I've lived next to it most of my life, but I think I'll be alright in Atlanta for a while. I can always annoy the apartment complex management and ship some sand in to put next to the pool laughing.gif
I will of course expect us all to hook up after this process .... so you could always come down to Atlanta for some giggles.

yes, yes they have
there MUST be something we can do.
We should have raised a stink before now and we might not be right here.
I think our focus should nto be on the crappiness of the USCIS but our focus shoudl be on the lack of focus on FAMILY...that a country BUILT from immigrants now allows the illegal ones to stay...TAX FREE... but the legal ones get destroyed..not only that but those fiancee VISAs and work VISAS and all kinds of other things are moving right right along while those of us in a family COMMITMENT wait.
Im going to pray that God open the doors for ALL of us an opportunity to change this process.
AND I pray speed and favor for us ALL.
"God has moved bigger mountains than this"
000
I wish there was something we could do, the system that they us to keep us uninformed is built to make sure that there is nothing we can do. We cant use any governmental tools because they can decide on a whim what month and day they are processing, their scripted answers to any questions include reasons why some people are processed faster than others and why some take so long, and they are trained to keep us at bay so to speak. They are well aware that we miss our families and part of their training is to to make sure that they understand we will call, we will complain, some will cry, some will have other emotional outburst. We didnt make this mess but we have to live with it, sometimes I think that the people working there dont have a family or have no idea what emotional ties are but when i really think about it they are so brainwashed by the things they are taught in their training that they really just see us as number, very angry numbers but numbers just the same. Right now I have no control over anything except me, the actions that I make, not to be confused with my life because right now USCIS has control over that.

From VJ Timeline...

Its a part of your timeline, when you look at your timeline look all the way at the bottom, it will say that your case could be adjudicated as early as XX XX. Its a Visajourney timeline thing, not a USCIS one.

You should use Tme warner one price service.

http://www.timewarnercable.com/nynj/Produc...lcountries.html

Unlimited calling for 19.99 add-on. Need Digital phone service and another service from them.

I call india for only .05 cent a minute.

Thanks I will have to check into that, .05 is much better than .69 and its still something that can be seen good.gif

no the .05 was FYI. I do not use the service because I am in a contract with dish network for tv. But use another carrier who offers with the .05. For 19.99, its unlimited. So if you subscribe to their TV service for $50 and Digital Phone service for 29.99 plus the 20 add-on for unlimited plan, you will have TV and phone with unlimited calling to Brazil for $100 a month.
