Today the automated system as well as the operator confirmed that our case was COMPLETE as of April 28.
I can hardly contain myself.
I would like to thank all of you for the extremely hard but wonderful work you all do on this forum. It was and is certainly a source of comfort as well as guidance.
I am paranoid, so the only short cuts i used were the Emailing of the DS - 3032 and i used the the DS -230 cover letter ( but only when the letter from the NVC looked like it was lost)
Is there a way to check to see when the embassy time frame is. I guess they will try to schedule within the next two weeks.

I'm sponsoring my parents for greencards and found out Monday (April 28th) that their cases were complete. I spoke to an operator as I had to change my mailing address and she mentioned that the next step is scheduling an interview, which is done at some point during the second week of each month. She then mentioned that the best time to check the automated system for that info would probably be the 3rd week of the month.

No word yet on the interview, will call on the second week of May
Trying to put together a complete packet for the interview, all originals etc and will try to have my taxes ready in case they ask

i would suggest you call at least once a week...maybe every friday...i was told one day i would not have an interview date for May becase of overcapacity at the embassy...then i called the next day and was told i was scheduled for May 2!!!
SO DONT TRUST THEM CALL EVERY FRIDAY!
