Hi,

Is it legally possible to do telecommuting from the US (for the company you work for in your home country) while you are waiting for your EAD? If so, how does this work with taxes?

You may want to ask a Tax accountant - there are several factors affecting this - 1) Does your employer has nexus in USA (Are they doing business here)? 2) How are they paying you? (In a bank in Holland or with dollars - a check mailed to you for example?)
If you are a resident by the end of the year - then you will need to file taxes on your income from all sources (you may be able to exclude some or all of the foreign income). As far as doing this - I think it's OK - I am assuming you would get an EAD. Good Luck

1)They are not doing business in the US and would
2) pay me through the bank (outside US).

It would only be for a max. a couple of months (until EAD?)
