OH MY GULAY!!!! Another increase:(....

Thank you for posting this Cass at least we still have time to adjust the budget for everything... this is really becoming more heavy on the pocket... I just hope that with the added fee they will be able to fire that notorious doctor and also that staff who harasses applicants. For the additional fee they should provide more quality service and I hope we will not read of another case who have had problem with any of their staff at SLEC.

Hope you will get your interview date soon. God bless always.

Just remember that for $213.35 to get a full physical with Xray and all immunization is WAY cheaper than if you had to pay for that here in the states. But agree that a 60% jump in cost over the last few months is rather high. But being a CFO of a hospital I can totally understand the rise of healthcare cost.

Good luck to all of us who have yet to get to the physical part (have to pinch a few more pennies) & CONGRATS to all because love is the ultimate gift.

This is still the Philippines, and I find this rate increase to be absurd. Just another way to get into someone's pocket.

I doubt a doctor makes more than $600 per month in PI.

Of course I will pay this increase fee when time comes, but I find it outrageous.

Thanks for the update

and Riza thought I sent her too much money, it's a good thing I added some to cover possible problems. but this is annoying, especially with less than a week's notice to let us know of the increase.

I foresee St Lukes being very busy in a few hours. Everyone trying to get the "cheap" rate. laughing.gif good.gif

This is one of the reasons why I opted not to resign from my job yet... I mean my husband sends me enough money to cover all the standing costs in here but for some rationale, everything just gets inevitable and we can't do anything about it but PAY protest6wz.gif uggg... so difficult especially because our expenses doesn't end with this procedure and we'll be face with a lot more when we get to the US.

Let's just pray to God for financial breakthrough. God Bless and keep the faith.

All of us really amaze this increasing of medical fee but I am more surprise and get a horror news this morning when i was at slec.

Past couple months, that i was everyday there at SLEC co`z of my medication. I ask SLEC if i will going have a re-medical again if it so I ask them if i pay again and they told me TWO times that after my Medication I will not going to payed again co`z i was old applicant that i already paid before also my papers was not yet give at USEM co`z of my TB problem. So, I was felt comfortable that i am not affected the fee increasing and I will going to continue only the vaccination after the medication done but Surprisingly this morning Slec tell me that i will going to re-medical and i will payed the increase fee... WHAT! so, i tell them the one they told me before a past couple months but its unclear explanation that i never accept.

They only told me that last week USEM and SLEC has a meetings that has change arrangement now that i use to payed the increasing fee but as i said its not unclear to me what kind of vaccinations they going to add and where is my payment go? Guess in their pocket....so next day i will going to make it clear and ask assessment records where my husband money go....?

As of now they take advantages us more and i am sure they will increase monthly... Where is the right of the petitioner's and applicant if all the time their will want us to followed what they want. They think we are its easy for us but they doesnt know that for the first time our petitioner applied at USCIS we have already paid more and wait a few months when they approved us then Medical Fee is more burden and makes us frustrated again.
