OMG! They got approved in 49 days?! That’s amazing…. It’s like I had said before you never know! There was one couple here that got approved in just 30 something days!
Personally I don’t really trust these timelines here! Because it can take 30 days or 300 days! Nothing is impossible when have to deal with USCIS ….

well, the couple is related to romania, so i asked them few times if they did anything special, expedite the case, she was talking about that on her profile,but the girl claims they didnt, all they did is be very organized and keep calling uscis for updates. i didnt get much at all out of her reply, i sometimes have the impression she confuses things. but who knows, uscis continues to surprise me, in a good way this time. i cant wait to hear other positive surprises like this one from uscis, there were plenty negative ones so far.

It would appear as if I was touched again today. . . . . someone is at least looking at our application. The USCIS says "last updated 6.26.2008"

Congratulations on all the touches... oh what I wouldn't give to see that date change again! It's been over a month now since our last one so i'm hoping the next brings something with it!

If you notice our timeline, as well as the timeline of several other April filers whom I know keep track, there seems to be this pattern with VSC scanning petitions in a bit after NOA1 and then, for some of us, again about a month after...many times two days in a row.

They're probably just moving it from one place to another but it's comforting to me just to know it's not sitting behind a desk somewhere.

If you look at that timeline. They had an RFE to which they replied 4/29. Then if you look at the date of mailing the original petition, it's the same day as the RFE 4/29, so that's a weird timeline and the approval may not have been so fast.

How's if going May? Congratulations on all those touches. I got a few about a month before my approval. Gets you excited then it seems to make it even harder to wait. Feb and March seemed to be big months and caused it to go slower. Maybe the length of time will get shorter as we roll through April approvals. April filers had gone through the same thing: majority was touched about a month after filing and two days in a row

I never thought going to a wedding while stuck dealing with US immigrations could be so hard. It just stroke me that God only knows when I'll be granted permission to marry the man of my dreams. What's even worse, I realized that I will never have a real Ukrainian wedding with all family friends present. Is that weird?

On the cheerful note, at least I will marry him one of these days... and skipping traditional wedding is a small price to pay for lifelong happiness

Stil, can't wait for this wedding season to be over. All those grooms and brides around town keep reminding me about things I can't have at the moment

Hard to say how July will go for the May filers. There will plenty touches but as for any NOA2's, I don't think we will see most of them until August.

Just wondering when is the best time to start gathering documents for the I-134? I'm thinking probably once we have received the awaited NOA2 but just want to make sure we are not falling behind the game.
Glad to see April filers are finally getting there approvals...hopefully we will see this happening with May soon!

Once you get the NOA2 you can start gathering. That's what were going to do.

Be a good idea to make sure you know everything in the mean time if you haven't already.

So today I will again comment on the weather here in Edinburgh Scotland.

Messing with my head. Muggy and overcast. But not in a its really happy sunny behind the clouds but in a winter way.

Still will be interesting to see how this compares when I begin commuting to Coventry. At least the longest day has come and gone. Next will be how short the days get I guess.

So exciting to hear that an April filer got approved I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Canada Day and make everyone an honorary Canadian I <3 my country a lot, and amazingly after a full week of cool, rainy weather, the sun is out and it's a true summer's day (even though I'm stuck inside at work for 12 hrs). Maybe this is a sign July will be a good month

I'm happy to hear that many people recieved touches, and even for those of you who didn't, touches aren't really any indication of anything, and as the old addage goes "no news is good news". I'm entirely too positive today lol

I'm excited because I get to travel tomorrow to see the rest of my family and *possibly* look at wedding dresses if I have time 18 days until I get to see Bo again as well...I'm just glad things are going well...

I like to see the small movements even if it is not officially on my app. Like our place on Igors list in the last couple of weeks we have gone from 279 to 255.

Wow, that's a major move!!! We've been at/around 160 for almost three weeks now. It goes to 155 at most and than back to 159-160 again. Drives me nuts! On a cheerer note, we got our third touch today. And it also is a pattern one - we were touched yesterday as well

You sure you want to know Ever since I found out about it, checking Igor's list became an obsessive habit Well, it is a list were they track all VSC filers based on their VJ timelines. Thus, when you fill in a timeline you get a ranking and as approvals come in you move down closer to #1. Even though first 20 or so timelines are either non-updated or messed up , so number 30 or so should mean you are close to approval. Now, all latest approvals are shown on the top of the page. So, by going there you can see 20 latest approvals. Here's the link: Igor's List.

Um... am I the only one obsessed here? And now my timeline dropped from August 13-22 to 27-Sept. 3, wuz up with that??? Seriously, somebody has to poke VSC!!! Hope next week will be better...

You need to have some patience and relax Alex. Realistically were looking at another month at least before we will get the NOA2.

I know it sucks with people who filed in January and February getting there's within 45 days or so but Vermont is on a slowdown and we have to accept that.

I know it's very frustrating looking at the lack of approvals coming out of either center and the lists and timelines are great for reference but I think we must always keep in mind that we at VJ are a VERY small percentage of actual filers.

I'm not sure it will help you at all but on a week like this, what helps keep me going is the thought that there is likely hundreds and hundreds of people who were actually approved and seeing all the approved petitions make their way to the Consulates all over the world (fed ex) is proof of that. Perspective is important right now for sanity's sake!

Quiet here, the weather is finally warm, so that is a plus. I hope this is a good week. I just keep telling myself that since last week was a holiday week in the US, that the workers weren't putting as much effort in, and hopefully they will step up this week
