The only hope that they are giving me is that if it is not approved by Nov 13 they will further investigate my case. GREAT Well, I guess the only thing I can do is trying to be positive. Got the email from NVC today that said that they sent the petition off to Montreal a couple days ago *didn't give exact date, but I'm gonna try the DHL trick* - it says it will take 10-15 days for Montreal to get it....umm, I know mail is slow, but that's kinda pushing it eh? LOL Just like all other USCIS timelines I guess...widely exaggerated so they THINK they won't disappoint people

So, I did the DHL tracking trick and it looks like the petition left NVC yesterday by DHL and is on its way to the Consulate in Montreal from The DHL office In montreal as of 10:25am (it was the only one going to montreal on the list, so I'm assuming it's mine )

So yay! Looks like the Consulate will have our stuff by this afternoon

John called NVC today and they said that our package left last Friday 12/9 can that possible? Just after one day? Maybe we should call them again and ask for the tracking number!

I had to check it twice just to make sure is said "approved." I will take back most of my threats that I made towards VSC. Most, not all. I have to rely on them getting my petition to NVC. It said I was approved on the 15. My case status still says pending, but I got the e-mail. Time to call Iuliia. She will be happy, I think. Just kidding.

I am glad to get out of everyones way and let them get their approvals. I am really pulling for Nat and Ana. I've got to stick with the Russian speakers. No offense, just my home team. Now to get an interview date and see if I am going duck or boar hunting. Yes, what a man, I am going to help her immigrate and I am thinking of what I am going to hunt when I get there. Just spending quality time with her uncle.

I dont think i'll get here for Christmas unfortunately...the wait times in Montreal are about 3 months, and I'm SURE they're gonna be way slower coming up onto Christmas. If nothing else, I will be home to see my friend have her baby at the beginning of December and another friend get married on the 30th or December. It would have been nice to be here with Bo for our birthdays (his is Jan 5th, mine is Jan 20th), but Im thinking it's gonna be Feb. Oh well, he's worth the wait You all will have to give me POE reviews when you come over so I'll know what to expect.

That is awesome Alex That is your consulate case number, so if you need info on your case, you will now give them that case number instead of your EAC number from VSC You may need it some for some of your packet 3 paperwork as well, so write it down somewhere

Hi Alex! Thanks I am good. It's so fast, you will get interview date very soon!!! That's pretty cool, lots of May filers are getting approvals now.

What a day so far. Since approval I have been driving around trying to steal internet access from hotels to use Skype. Took me 3 different places. I am on the road making sales calls and my Skype can be bad without enough bars. Finally, got through to Iuliia. It was a good call. We celebrated, but the connection could have been better. Could have been her cell phone too. I was trying to speak to her in Russian and she was speaking English. Yeah, I know that is backwards. I wish I had the audio. We figured it all out. She is happy.

Now I have to figure out what to take, Mossy Oak or Realtree camouflage? Do I need blaze orange in Ukraine? I hope Sergiy's rifle is sited in. I would hate to be laughed at for missing an easy shot. I've got time to worry about that. Now, back to making a living.

You'll need the I134 affidavit-form and the proof for the evidence of support, plus some more stuff that proves you're engaged ... But I'm not sure what you have to send back in that packet 3... Copies of the proof and originals of the DS and other official forms? Or copies of forms and take the originals to the interview. Hmmm that's what I wanted to ask the embassy, I called and mailed but haven't heard back from em.
