Good morning/afternoon MAY
!WE are approved!!!Our attorney received our NOA2 hardcopy yesterday saying that we ware approved September 7 , but on the USCIS website still shows; Current Status: Case received and pending.we are so happy!! Finally after 16 long months we are approved!Thank you so much for being there for me when I needed the most!!! Thank you
! Ryan you are next!!! Umh 16 months? Is that how long you guys have been together Alex?
That USCIS computer system is pretty weird ... You've almost had your approval a week ago ...
I'm so happy for you sweetie ... you deserve it!!
And yea Ryan

you're next!!!

Congratulations Alex!!!!!!!! Couldnt happen to a nicer person.
And.....if I paid a lawyer $2000 for this and he forgot to pay the USCIS.....I think he'd find out where Jimmy Hoffa is.
Anyway.......thanks guys for the well wishes and CONGRATULATIONS. I can only hope you're right with the prediction.

Jenni, step outside and tell me if it is hot and humid now. Welcome to the south.
Ana, just got off the phone with Iuliia. No wonder you got sick. It is cold and raining in Kharkov. She is complaining that she is getting something. She is "nyet hirosho." Hope you feel better.
Mailman just came by the house. Nothing. Still lost in the VSC black hole. At least no bills in the mail.

CONGRATULATIONS everyone who received their approvals!
If one is registered on the USCIS website does the e-mail notification come the day the K1 is approved or is the e-mail delayed like the website? We are going through an attorney and all he keeps telling us is that VSC is processing January and it can take 6-12 months. Thank goodness for VJ members.

Date mailed: May 2, 2008

Ana, are you feeling better? Hope so. Did you go to Boryspil to see David off or were you still feeling bad? Get well.
I am glad to see tons of approvals for everyone. My application must be under a wobbly table leg in the cafeteria. I guess they are not afraid of gun toting, beer drinking, tobacco chewing rednecks. Little do they know.
I had to tell Iuliia that the liberals do not like me because of my years in the Corps and what I did. That is the reason that we don't have NOA2. She laughed. I know it is a crapshoot. I did think hard of taking a 2 month hiatus. Naw, she just needs to get her visa. She does't understand that hunting season has started here.
Time to put crosshairs on the mailman and see if she has my hardcopy.
Jenni, you should be at the Ale House right now. The "bottom of the pack, NC State" is losing to Clemson, barely. I went to State, but am a die-hard TIGER fan. I hope that we make them cry.
It has gotten so quiet here. Let's go people.

Wish I was at the Ale House. Clemson is kicking the crap out of the bottom of the pack. Now to watch my sons kick the crap out of their opponents.
Watched the nice postal worker drive right past my mailbox. It looks like I will be freezing my a## off in November. The mailman must not have noticed the red dot that was following her up the street.
If anyone takes my posts seriously, you evidently got a D in English and do not understand sattire and sarcasism.
Good luck to all. Give me another adult beverage!

I'm quiet cuz I'm not around enough

Relaxing w/ Bo as he has Fridays and Saturdays off. Gotta run to the store and get some steaks in awhile

Hope your sons kick some serious ###, and I would be checking USCIS more than waiting on the mail...it was 4 days after our email notification that we got our letter. Iknow the website can be unreliable though. Just don't make the postalworker to bonkers...we've all heard about what they can get like
Alex - I'm glad you got through to NVC

good to know your petition arrived safe eh?

Ana! Good to hear from you. SOrry you got sick while D was visiting, but Im sure he just was entirely too happy to be close to you

It sounds like the last two batches of approvals have not had the emails go out as they should. I wouldnt be too worried about it...it should take 3-5 days for Lara to get the hard copy in the mail

Jenni, How do you like the weather today. Supposed to be 95. I ordered that just for you. Football went well last night. Winners. My middle son did give up one touchdown. There goes his allowance.
Ana, hope you are getting better. Just talked to Iuliia a minute ago. She is now sick with a fever. She is not a good one when she becomes ill. She was envious of my weather. She said that she would not get sick here.
Hoping to see some more approvals. Hopefully mine so I can go hunting soon in Ukraine.

Gordon : Not a problem hun

Let us know when she gets it

Let Lara know that once she recieves the letter, she can give NVC a ring to find out when your petition arrives there. I think Kim posted the number in a different thread yesterday or Friday

I do believe Alex has the number as well.

Bo works everyday until Friday now though, so I won't be going too far :S Sit out on the balcony, watch the cars with a beer

Sorry to hear your love is sick. She thinks she wants this weather, but she's going to be like me, and probably get sick more often for the first few months of her stay here. I have a bit of tolerance because I live next to water too...so I can tolerate the humidity. Bo is from Cali, been here 5 years and STILL can't tolerate the stickiness

Nooooo, dont pay attention to USCIS website!!!!, put the correct date in your timeline. It looks like you forgot to put the date you sent the I129F. You should fill out the date you sent your I129F and the date they received your application. When you have that information, automatically youŽll see an estimate of the date that you should recieve your NOA2. I filed in June and mine is approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so dont pay attention to them. Good luck!!!! your NOA2 is coming to you!!

Good evening May Filers, I've been browsing through some of the Vermont filings, and I've noticed a few very similar to mine May 14th 08 that have either been touched numerous times and or approved for NOA2. I'm very happy for those that are moving out of the NAO1 corral and to greener pastures, but Is Vermont in a position to crank out their applications now that their load is somewhat eased, or have I become crazed caused by the 123 day wait? At least touch me!

This is what I really don't understand... Why was backlog from Vermont sent to California, when from a K1 perspective California is soooo much slower? I'm really happy for Vermont filers who have been approved, and I realize that they two centers are much closer than they've been in the past (within a month and a half or so, as opposed to five-six months). It's just frustrating, particularly since I'm still at least two plus months away (according to my VJ timeline estimate) and June filers from Vermont are getting approvals.
That said, huge congrats to all the Vermont filers who have been approved--I'm glad your center is moving again!!!

the processing date quoted by the USCIS is supposed to be the earliest dated petitions they are processing, but many people receive their NOA2 before then, its just to cover themselves. lots of ppl from may are getting theirs now, dont panic ppls!

i think but i'm not expert but california might be the biggest and most staffed of all the service centers, possibly because it seems to me thay have a biggeer catchment area, than vermont. i would assume they get more applications on whole than vermont too. if its true that every service center is ment to be helping with citizenship it might be that with the very very very slow married visas at vermont, and cali having more staff than others they could stand to loose a few extra staff. though i'm with you i don't fully feel that it makes sence.

yes I understand where you're coming from, but when Vermont is capable of completing "June" applications while California is still bypassing some it's own Feb, April and May applicants to continually assist Vermont, it doesen't take a rocket scientist to figure out, that Vermont can stand on it's own two feet now, and no longer has to be helped by it's big brother.

To all those waiting -
It seems that the approvals from the last 2 weeks, the email notifications and websites have NOT been updating. Make sure the USC's keep an eye on the mail, and this may be the way you will find out about your approval.

Jenni, Thanks for bringing the rain. I ordered you heat for a few days and you brought the rain back. Is this a tug-of-war. After the last 2 years or drought, I will concede. I just can't wait for you to experience the first 2 inches of snow. It is funny. All of the news people go to I-40, especially Harrison Ave exit and tell everyone how bad it is. I want to pelt them with ice-balls when they are doing a live feed. Something good for You Tube. I like the rain. Last year 5 of the swamps that I duck hunt were bone dry. Hopefully we will have the mosquito breeding grounds full this year.
Ana, How are you? Have you recovered yet. I hope so. My Iuliia is still sick. She came down with a fever on Sunday. I call her and the phone call lasts about one minute. Normally she will talk for at least 2 minutes before she hangs up. Just a joke. I hope that you had a great time with Dave on the Black Sea. I am really thinking of taking a long vacation for 2 months to Kharkov until this visa mess is over. I have to go to Chicago with my boss for a week and I will work on him. It will cost me sales, but as much as I have spent for the past 4 years, a drop in the bucket. Get well soon. I do hope that you had a great time and you will be reunited soon. All of us here look forward to hearing about where you went. Get your approval too.

My mailman is so lucky that I can not stalk her. It will happen sometime, maybe. Glad to see you back on your feet.
