I'm just here to look around and thank GOD that i finally found somewhere in this vast expanse of the internet to talk to people who are going through what i'm going through!!!!!!

It's as if i can now breathe a sigh of relief

We haven't started filing for anything yet, mainly because we didn't know all the procedures etc...
We also have to deal with his military timeline, which is alot of hurrying up and waiting

I hope to be able to contribute to discussions, and get some well needed help on my journey.

I'm a Canadian marrying someone in the military as well. We have filed for our k-1 visa.. which means that we can get married in the states, and i can stay in the US with him during the i 130 processing after weare married.

WE ran into some problems concerning this because we just found out he is being deployed, and we won't have time to wait for the k1 to go through before he goes. We are looking for alternate choices, like marrying in canada before he goes and filing for the greencard while hes in iraq, or getting an expedite ( rush) on our visa processing because of these circumstances.

I have been told by pretty much everyone on here that the k-1 route is the easiest , fastest and best choice.

And to find stuff on your watched list go to my controls, and view subscriptions should be on the left side somewhere
