Full Version: AFTER TEXTING DOC VERIFICATION FEE PAYMENT TO DELRBOS
VisaJourney.com > General Discussion Area > Regional Discussion > Philippines

RyaNRiza
This is addressed to everyone who have just paid or are still going to pay their doc verification fee to Metrobank branches:

I paid my doc fee yesterday and texted the info of my payment to DELBROS : 0917-555-5313. I didn't get a confirmation the whole day so I decided to text again the info this morning...no confirmation still. As advised by Loterly to call DELBROS, I just did it this afternoon. I talked to Robbie and told him about my payment and told him that I wanted to confirm if they received my text since I did not get a reply from their end. He asked for my case number, my full name, the Metrobank branch where I deposited the payment. The payment I made appeared in their database after he checked it.

QUESTIONS I ASKED ROBBIE:

1. Do I still need to fax my bank receipt?
Answer: No need since they already confirmed my payment.
ADVICE: Whether you receive or not a text confirmation from DELBROS, always, always make a call and have it confirmed over the phone with the person in-charge. Even if they answer no, still, ask this question, there must be some cases where your receipt is needed to be faxed.

2. Do I need to call and inform USEM about my doc verification payment?
Answer: No need. They will be the one to make a follow-up to USEM.
ADVICE: As advised by Loterly, I should still call USEM, inform them of my payment and give them my case number and full name (which I will do tomorrow or Friday). The primary purpose of this is to alert both DELBROS and USEM about your payment, there is a probability that either one, or worse, both DELBROS and USEM will overlook your case due to tons and tons of application. By informing both parties, both of them will be alerted, thus, avoiding your doc verification to lay idle in the corner.

3. When will my docs be verified to NSO
Answer: May 5 (this makes me kicking.gif )
ADVICE: Call DELBROS the day after they gave you the date they will send your docs to NSO. Like for my case, he said May 5, I will call Robbie again on May 6 to see if they have forwarded my case to NSO.

I actually plan to call USEM tomorrow morning. I will be posting what Grace or Lorraine has to say.

I want to express my thanks and appreciation to Loterly who inspired me to share this experience to everyone. With the slow issuance of visas due to doc verification, we should not just get contented of having this system linger and mumble to ourselves "that's the way it is, there's nothing we could do...but wait" when in fact there is something we can do to speed up the process by getting up and make an action. Everyone wants to have their visa the soonest time after the interview. However, this doc verification glitch makes everyone crazy. I hope that the future K1 applicants will learn from their predecessors (?) (tama ba term na ginamit ko? pls. correct if I'm wrong unsure.gif )

In everything, and in every step that we will take, always, always ask for God's guidance and wisdom and claim the favors and blessings that await us even before we have them in our hands.

I hope this sharing helps. Will update what USEM people responds after I call them.

Called USEM this morning and talked to Grace. I informed her about the payment I made for my doc verification. She asked if I got a text confirmation and I told her "no" but have called DELBROS to confirm my payment. She said it was great that I called DELBROS. She asked for my case number and read to the name that appeared in their database (which is my name of course). However, she said that it will take a month for the doc verification to be accomplished from the day I deposited the payment ohmy.gif I don't know how true this is, but I plan to keep bugging DELBROS instead of USEM since DELBROS is the agency who is in-charge of doc verification. Also Grace added, that there is no need to follow-up to USEM about the status of my doc verification and I will just know if it was already verified on the very day of my interview.

Next week, on Tuesday, I will call Robbie and make a follow-up about it since he said that my request will be forwarded on May 5.

Good luck guys! i am sure with all the intensive follow-up and research you are doing to ensure the speedy release of your visa, am sure God will reward you! Ipagdasal ko na sana kapag kayo na ang mainterview, maayos na ng NSO, DELBROS at USEM ang bagong processong ito. May He continue to guide you and direct you in all your thoughts, words and actions in this challenging journey. Be assured that if there are delays, our Lord always has a reason for them. Keep the Faith!

Wa pa jud, basi sa June na, gahinay-hinay mi kay bug-at baya kaayo ning visa process for us... visa fee pa lang $393 na, medical namo $492 + airfare pa nga PHP17,000+ para sa amo tulo and hotel stay pa jud.. maluoy ko kaayo ke Ricky na. Pero we checked economytravel.com na imo gisuggest, we might book there if we can't find cheaper rate sa local travel agencies. good.gif

I hope they have requested a clearer copy na from our local civil registrar.

USEM has just started this doc verification thing and we can't blame them becoz of the widespread document falsification before eg. http://www.honestreporting.com/articles/re...vestigation.asp
and that is not an isolated case, there were many other similar cases as well as married women getting falsified documents and then marrying foreigners... Kasalanan nila, lahat tayo nagbabayad. But if this is a way to start cleaning up the system then why not di ba.

I have actually lifted everything to God. Its not my will but His be done so whether approved or not, whether I have to wait for visa or not... it will be His will.

Planning to call USEM next week.. i have requested CENOMAR naman, we even submitted cenomar with the I-129F (not necessary but I was just compelled to do it just to strengthen our case). Will be requesting another copy of cenomar next week for my interview... I am positive there are no problem with my NSO documents (aside from the illegible copy of BC).

Thank you Lot for the reminders. good.gif good.gif good.gif Would have been nice to meet you in person pero mamiya naman ka hapit... I wish you the best and God's blessings always. star_smile.gif
