I paid my doc fee yesterday and texted the info of my payment to DELBROS : 0917-555-5313. I didn't get a confirmation the whole day so I decided to text again the info this morning...no confirmation still. As advised by Loterly to call DELBROS, I just did it this afternoon. I talked to Robbie and told him about my payment and told him that I wanted to confirm if they received my text since I did not get a reply from their end. He asked for my case number, my full name, the Metrobank branch where I deposited the payment. The payment I made appeared in their database after he checked it.
QUESTIONS I ASKED ROBBIE:
1. Do I still need to fax my bank receipt?
Answer: No need since they already confirmed my payment.
ADVICE: Whether you receive or not a text confirmation from DELBROS, always, always make a call and have it confirmed over the phone with the person in-charge. Even if they answer no, still, ask this question, there must be some cases where your receipt is needed to be faxed.
2. Do I need to call and inform USEM about my doc verification payment?
Answer: No need. They will be the one to make a follow-up to USEM.
ADVICE: As advised by Loterly, I should still call USEM, inform them of my payment and give them my case number and full name (which I will do tomorrow or Friday). The primary purpose of this is to alert both DELBROS and USEM about your payment, there is a probability that either one, or worse, both DELBROS and USEM will overlook your case due to tons and tons of application. By informing both parties, both of them will be alerted, thus, avoiding your doc verification to lay idle in the corner.
3. When will my docs be verified to NSO
Answer: May 5 (this makes me
ADVICE: Call DELBROS the day after they gave you the date they will send your docs to NSO. Like for my case, he said May 5, I will call Robbie again on May 6 to see if they have forwarded my case to NSO.
I actually plan to call USEM tomorrow morning. I will be posting what Grace or Lorraine has to say.
I want to express my thanks and appreciation to Loterly who inspired me to share this experience to everyone. With the slow issuance of visas due to doc verification, we should not just get contented of having this system linger and mumble to ourselves "that's the way it is, there's nothing we could do...but wait" when in fact there is something we can do to speed up the process by getting up and make an action. Everyone wants to have their visa the soonest time after the interview. However, this doc verification glitch makes everyone crazy. I hope that the future K1 applicants will learn from their predecessors (?) (tama ba term na ginamit ko? pls. correct if I'm wrong
In everything, and in every step that we will take, always, always ask for God's guidance and wisdom and claim the favors and blessings that await us even before we have them in our hands.
I hope this sharing helps. Will update what USEM people responds after I call them.
