Hey All,
I think we may have hit our first (potential) bump in the road. She does not have all of her innoculation records, and where she had them done as a child is long gone. Can she just get the req. shots at her medical? What ARE the req. shots? Thanks All!

I believe there is an anti-body test that a doctor can do to see what she has had done. She should schedule an appointment with her regular doctor now and see what they can do about it. Some of the required vaccinations are series of shots that have to be done over several weeks/months (at least for kids...don't know if it's different for adults)...so she should get on it as soon as possible, just in case she needs them. I think this is a fairly common problem, so don't worry too much.

My fiance has the same issue - his childhood vaccination records were misplaced by the clinic. He will just have to get the required shots at his medical appointment, to be determined by the doctor.

There are no required vaccinations for K-1 but it is later when doing AOS. It is reccomended that if a K-1 applicant is in need of additional vaccinations that they can be done at the K-1 medical or can be performed after entry into the US.
