Full Version: NYS Driver License Attention all new applicants
Hey "Guys" just wanted to give an FYI about the NYS Driver License Thingy....................ok a couple of months back my husband applied for his NYS Driver Permit with this temp work auth card from DHS. At that point he had ssn etc. ok fast forward a few months .....................took the ROad test and passed.....................got a letter from DMW Testing and Investigations -couldn't enter his road test results because he "didnt update " his records with DMV (ie: Presenting his Greencard) ...ok so we did that (it cost $10) and a week later he got his permanent NYS DL . Just wanted to let you guys know this piece of info so you dont run into some glitches. GOod luck!
