We have 130 pages (in MS Word) worth of text chat from our Skype Chats over the past 7 months. How picky should we be. Condense it to 5 to 10 pages. Whats suggested?

They're not going to look at all that, come on. If you want to condense it to just a couple represent sections of conversations, I think that's fine. Just highlight the dates if they appear anywhere so they see 'oh this is when'. Other than that they don't care. Emails will also work, but I think they'll be more interested in seeing pictures, new flight details if you're going to have any, phone records, etc. too. Just try to have as wide a variety of samples as you can without overdoing it. Either way you're going to be fine.

But don't give them 130 pages of conversations.

People keep getting danged BOOKS published on their online relationships and making bunches of money just off of their old chat logs...kind of makes me mad just because I didn't get there first

Well thanks, I figured 130 was way too many . We have pictures of her Visit to the US and My visit to the UK. We were gonna send a bit of our chat history, just wanted to get a since of enough. We have the rest of the 129F compiled. Thanks a bunch .

I printed a list from gmail showing just the titles and dates of messages - it was probably about four or five pages in total - and they didn't even ask for that

One suggestion is for you to print the summary page of your skype chat archives as this will show all the dates and records of your online conversation

You won't need any of that kind of evidence to send with your I-129F at all, they just want proof that you have met in person within the last two years. Save the Skype stuff for your interview.

2-3 pages showing the earliest and 2-3 the latest dates will be enough.

Good point Gillian. Skype chat logs don't prove you have met in person, just that you chat online. Stick with providing evidence of meeting and save the Skype stuff for later. London rarely asks for it, but be sure to have a few proofs of ongoing relationship at interview time, not at petition time.

I think I put in about 10 pages (if I remember right the application even states no more than _X_ amount of pages). But I put in some of the first, latest, and ones in which we discussed our relationship in particular...such as wedding plans etc.

Save evidence of a bonafide relationship for the interview.
You only need to prove you have met in person in the last 2 years.
Plane tickets, hotel receipts and a couple pictures will do.

not silly very good question,with its other merits, i can't beleive it's so difficult and fiddly. Vito tried unsuccsessfully the other nite, but from answers on here before i hear you can do a screen capture or something whilst the application is opened on screen but i didnt fully understand much further than that. i did find find that if you payed for calls on skype you could go into your admin and print those history. hopefully by opening this up again an expert will come along and answer you properly cos i would like to know too!
