I recieved my biometrics letter today scheduled for 2nd of may, this is no problem but on the letter i noticed what i need to bring in terms of id, it says to bring state id card which i have and passport, my only worry is my passport is in my maiden name, is this a problem? thanks

i did my biometrics today and all i needed is the app letter and my green card, i think u will be fine with only those

No, it won't be a problem. Bring your marriage certificate with you if you would like to prove the connection, however even though I brought my passport with me to my biometrics, I didn't have to show it. They just asked for my green card and my Driver's License.

thanks for the replys, i also noticed when i checked my status online that we have been forwarded to California...is this a good thing?>

It is a normal thing, which I guess is a good thing:-). It seems that all applications filed at Nebraska are being transferred to California, just like all applications filed in Texas are being forwarded to Vermont. I suspect they are consolidating all I-751 applications at these two service centers rather than using all 4 as previously done. Good luck.
