Hi VJ's

We have submitted our DS 230 and this was received on April 22. We are hoping that if all goes well we can complete in early May and have interview scheduled for June.

Here is my problem, the time frame from when the DS 230 was generated and received by me in the USA was almost 4 weeks, the RFE the generated on April 4 came almost 3 weeks later. From the forum i see this can happen

My question is what has been the usual time frame from the time the interview date is set to the time you receive the interview letter in the mail. I am worried that by the time i get the letter the interview date may pass or be really close.

Thanks

Regards

Vani
I got my interview letter in a month, that's just my case though. Since we live in different places... Yours might be longer unsure.gif

For the expiration date, are you talking about the "Approval Notice" from the USCIS?
If it gets expire before you get your interview, just call to get your date extended. I almost got mine expired!

We went in for our interview in March - We handed that form in to the embassy the day we went in. I don't think we have to submit it before.......

you would need the interview letter to get a medical examination done. depending on which country the interview is held usually the US embassy has service where they can distribute duplicate copy of the interview letter a week b4 the interview if you still haven't received the letter. You might want to call at the embassy and check before hand in case u have to take that route.

Good Luck!
