For those who received an RFE for something missing in their DS230 packet...ie 2 passport photos, birth cert, marriage cert, police cert.....what does the NVC send to you when requesting this missing information?

Is there any special barcoded coverletter you need to send back with the missing info?
Or do you just send requested missing info with your case number?
Which address do you have to send the RFE missing info back to?

Trying to figure out if there is a 'shortcut' for returning missing DS230 RFE documents.

did u alredy konw what is missing in ur file, when did u send ur ds230 and when did they receive it, how long it takes them to know something was missing. just curious

I am curious too. How did you know you'd get a RFE? How long does it generally take to generate forms after you've paid the bill(s) online?

check my timeline but somehow they lost my visa photos so as soon i got an rfe notice via the automated mached i wrote them an email and even called the live operator to speak with to verify the missing rfe so i can prepare ahead. as soon as my attorney received the real rfe paperwork from nvc we sent the missing photos same day took us 11 days to received the rfe from NVC and then took 7 days for nvc to received my pictures "received the checklist" and waiting for further investigation.
