Hello! My interview will be on May 23rd. Is it ok for my USC husband to make another I-864 and send it to me since he was not able to keep a copy of the original which he sent to NVC? I read in the US embassy website that once you sign the I-864 it is definite meaning it's good until the alien becomes a citizen or until after 10 years unlike before that you need to renew after a year. If he makes another one then he signs on a different date...will that cause problems?
This also goes the same with my DS230...I need to make another one and it will be on a different date than as of the original.
Please advise thanks.

NVC will send the I-864 to the embassy with the rest of the packet, you should not need another.

But to be on safe side he could just fill out another and send it to you for interview. Having different dates wont matter.
