Hi, I'm new to these boards but I can only relay what's going on with my case.
I'm Canadian and had my interview on Feb 28, 2008. I got the blue form too as they wanted an updated police check. I sent them the paperwork but it took them more than a YEAR to schedule my interview (don't ask me why, after reading how fast everyone is getting everything on these boards it's really making me frustrated). Anywho, by the time I got my interview my certificate was over a year old so I had to redo it. They also wanted another medical. I couriered those to the consulate and they received it as of April 1, 2008. No word since. My case just says Application Pending. My hubby, who's an American, and I have been married 5 1/2 yrs, have two kids together (4 and 3), he's a former marine from the gulf war...and for some reason it's taken us years and years to get the interview and now I'm in AP land. I was born and raised in Canada and have no issues relating to anything (never been refused entry to the US, I don't have a criminal record, my parents were originally from Estonia and that's not on the restrictive country list, but have been in Canada since they were kids). I'm just a stay-at-home mom. I guess us stay-at-home mom's are a danger to the US these days eh? lol
Sorry but I have to laugh or I'd cry. I call everyday to the State Dept. to see if there is any news and all they say is application is pending due to the documents that I was to send in. Then they ask if I've sent them....grrrrrr. Yes, 3 1/2 weeks ago! We are trying to get me and my son who's 11 (we have custody papers allowing us to move him to the US) from a previous marriage to move to the US where my hubby is now working and living. I just spoke with an immigration attorney yesterday and he told me to have my hubby contact his US Senator. Looks like we will have to go that route if we are ever to get things moving. It's been years and years

From what I've read from others though, you should be fine. But whoever has been on my case needs a fire under them as they've fallen asleep.
