Just wondering if any of you had extra docs pending at your interview and had to send in your passport afterwards. If so, how long did it take?

I still had to do my medical and my OH's 2007 tax return. I waited a few days after my medical and sent in the tax return and my passport last Friday. I haven't heard anything since.

I know it's not long, but I want my passport back!!! preferable with a visa in it

Yesterday, I actually did take a deep breath and called the stupid effing extortion line. And true to their name, they extorted from me about £6. I gave my name and case number, confirmed my address, and the lady on the other end of the phone said:

'hmm, it looks like you have an interview... on the... 10th of April'

'I know that, I went to it'

'oh I see'

'I was asked for further documents, so i sent them in last friday, can you see that they've arrived'

'no, I can't see that'

'can you normally see if somethings been sent in'

'no'

'well can you see if there's anything else outstanding that I don't know about'

'no'

'fantastic'



I'm kicking myself that I didn't ask for a code to email, but I was so mad that they were charging so much and were so little help I was seeing red. I think i'm going to try emailing today anyway. I'm flying to Ireland in 8 days, and I need my passport back. grrrrrrrr

This is my MBE (in the attachment) - have they changed it? It's got a white page stapled to the front with all my details and a box for the admission stamp. No chance I'd accidentally open it.
