I had my biometrics appointment on April 16, and I was expecting my file would be touched after that but it hasnt since it was first submitted.

Is that normal?
Tammi
Husband also had his biometrics (in March) and it hasn't shown touched for that.
It never did on the I-751 either.

Our's didn't either. The last touch was on March 5, 2008 - when they sent out the NOA and Biometrics. We didn't even get a touch when they sent out the interview letter, which is why it shocked the heck out of us to have received it so soon. Who knew!

More than normal LOL

My file show the initial receipt of my application - that is all. Since then, I have submitted a change of address, had a service request sumbitted & completed, received my biometrics appointment letter, ad had my biometrics done - none of these actions have even generated a touch on my file.

Nope, me neither. I suspect this is the norm.

Amusingly, though, applications I sent in years ago seem to have been "touched" recently. Dunno what that's all about...

I've heard it's from when they move old files around from one place to another, maybe gathering up all the old papers and such for your application. Who knows. unsure.gif unsure.gif unsure.gif
