anyone in Washington state can help me?

well..
my gc expries 7/31/08 so I am planning on sending my packet on 5/5/08.

but I just found out my best friend is coming to US from June 2 to 16 and I recently moved so all my friends are in Colorado.
She's coming to colorado and I'd like to go see her too(she's coming from UK)
and I was wondering if I submit my packet on 5/5 as I planned, there's possible chance my bio will be on that time period... slightly after a month right?
so I was wondering recent applicants... would you please tell me when you submit the packet and when did you get your bio appt letter and when is your bio date?

should I submit my packet like May 15th?
and would 10 days later make huge difference?

thanks all for your support.

I checked timeline and it looks like about a month.
submitting 10 days later would make big difference?

It appears to be a month between filing and biometrics for those who go through CSC.

I'd suggest you file a bit later -- as long as you file within the 90 day window (even if a few days before you PR card expires), you satisfied the requirements. So if you file 60 days in advance vs 75 -- does not make a whole lot of difference.

Alternatively, you can always reschedule biometrics once you receive the appointment letter, but it seems to be hassle, so I'd just file a bit later.

We live in Washington (Bellingham), and my wife's appointment is four weeks from the day that she sent it in.
