Hi there! I am trying to find out if I would qualify for DCF here in Russia. I am a US citizen who has been here for 7 months so far on a 1 year Business Visa. I could not get a clear description of the requirements on the embassy website. Do you think that it will be up the the individual embassy I use?

You first need to find if the Embassy or Consulate nearest to where you live processes DCF applications: http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/
Every consulate has their own little differences in how they handle DCF, but in a nutshell, you have to be married; be a resident (which you are with your business visa) of the consular district, and have maintained domicile in the US (say, pay taxes, have voter's registration or driver's license, etc.).

Thanks! Well I should be married in a few months. And I live across the street from the Embassy here and am known to some of the people who work there but it is always nice to get feedback from people who have actually been following this subject for a while. Since i am such a newb at it.
