And when i call them they sey they answer the phone till 12:00...I call at 11 :00 and the answering machine says they only answer till 12:00 !!!!!!
don't get it.....

ouch, sorry to hear that. Your best bet is probably to visit the regional forums and talk to the other folks who have had to deal with Israel. I hope it's sorted soon! smile.gif

I figured I have to tell you this. Expired form is ok, because they are the one who see it, or you can print a new unexpired form from the internet to use instead of consulate expired form is fine also. This is what I did and my fiance is now with me in the USA.

As to 156K, if they don't give it to you, don't ask for it. They don't need it anyway I think. USCIS websute say, some consulate used it and some don't. so don't worry. As to approve Doctor, if they don't mentioned it, go to anyone you like, because in Isarel, I guess any hospital or Doctor can do the job, and this is why the US consulate don't give you a specific hospital. In Laos or Thailand, you will have to use the one they told you, because like I mentioned above here. Good luck!!!

Great advice all around ....I know many consulates still hand out expired forms and that they're fine to use but I would still suggest you contact others who have gone through the consulate there in Israel if only to merely compare experiences and find out what to expect. wink.gif Best of luck to you tuty! smile.gif

PM somebody like NYGIRL and ask her... her fiance went through Israel. DO NOT assume any doctor can do it based on someone else's experience at a different consulate. Yes, it might be correct, but it might not be....

Each consulate applies different set of rules.

For Malaysia, there weren't any forms in my Packet 3 (except checklist and statement) and I had to download all from the internet. The list of doctors, the medical forms and the DS230 Part 2 came in Packet 4. I still had to download the rest from the internet.

So, I suggest you get in touch with someone who has gone through Israel recently or keep calling the embassy or write them. They are usually pretty quick in responding emails, I think!

Good luck!

Yes, I don't get it either. wacko.gif Some embassies send out old forms and then they have a problem with you because you didn't fill out the correct forms. blink.gif

And I bet if you say those are the forms that were sent to us, they will have some excuse why it's OUR fault.

You can get the most up to date forms, and many if not all of them fillable pdf versions, directly from USCIS' website. We received expired forms as well, but didn't use them. [Abu Dhabi Consulate.]

Really, they will likely accept the forms they sent you, but if you want up to date forms, follow my advice above.

Good luck!

The most disappointing part of the whole process for me was dealing with the Consulate.

They made dicked us around and made mistakes. The Embassy officer was supposed to give us back our original marriage certificate and instead they put it in the yellow envelope supposed to be opened by immigration at the airport (who then sends the documents to USCIS).

I am sorry for your troubles. But it doesn't surprise me.
