Our flight to Manila will be morning of May 12 and will be there till morning of May 22.... So pwede cguro 18-21para andon din si Riza. Count us in (me and my 2 side kicks--my kids)

Ate, i just noticed, since more than a week ka, i suggest sa Travellers Inn (Makati) ka inquire. I think one week rate nasa around 10,000 pesos lang. May ref, tv, and malaki rin naman room.

Would be nice to have activities also the venue. Shape kaw na bahala sa venue. Will suggest tomorrow any activity na maiisip ko

1,800 pesos traveller's inn per night cguro nga may weekly rates... mas maganda nga sana if Makati area coz mas malinis but i am rather hoping na within malate/ermita area lang para malapit sa st/ lukes and embassy para di na kailangan magtaxi.

Ito so far pinagpipilian ko: Jade Vine Executive Inn (twin de lux =P1,250, superior=1,500). A toastmaster group regularly meets at that place on a weekly basis and it also has the highest occupancy retention among budget economy hotels for the past several years so cguro medyo disente din ung place.... I called earlier and the lady I spoke to was very pleasant.. I just hope somebody could really check the place out, i have to call and beg some friends pa to check it out, kaso cut-off week this week and next week so mahihirapan ako request sa mga former collegues ko, maghahabol pa ang mga yon ng benta (mga medical representative kasi sila). it's a jeep away to SLEC & 2 blocks away from USEM.

this is the next one: UCCP Shalom Center (Standard Room is 1,645 tapos pde daw 2 bed and one pull out). UCCP church ung nagmamanage kya lang medyo mataray nakasagot sakin kanina, sguro may PMS lang din. I guess, staying in a christian place would make me feel a little more secure din but i still don't know. It is within walking distance to SLEC & a little farther away sa USEM.

there there is Hotel Juliano (standard single is P1,000, twin deluxe is P1,800) which is very near embassy daw according to a friend. They don't have website nga lang.

I'm rather leaning towards Jade Vine or Shalom... pero I'll let it sit for awhile before deciding talaga. I would need to harrass some friends to check it out muna cguro. Hayy, decision-decision. .. if my kids are not with me, i would just go for the dormitory type sa friendly guest house or sa malate pensionne.

I saw the Jade Vine , ok yung labas naman, i dont know lang sa loob kace di co naman napasok, nadaanan co lang before.hehe

have you been to the new baywalk at the back of MOA? ung San Miguel by the bay? parang ung sa Roxas bay walk din daw madami resto bars. Pde rin cguro sa Dampa if dinner tayo but i guess mas ok ambience sa San Mig by the bay.. well, you and primie could plan it out and we would be there:)

sure, pero tingnan ko muna laman ng wallet ko pero puede naman magwindow shopping lang hehehehe, april 4 interviewees cant go out yet coz we have to wait for calls from usem or delbros, or sometimes kasi based sa experience nang iba, their visas suddenly came without prior notice hehehe i want to have the opportunity to receive my reward in my own bare hands. pero pag may midnight sale sa mga sm eh di GO, wala nang cgurong visa delivery ng gabi eh, meron lang mcdo at pizza delivery hehehehe

Ok na cguro may 20 after Riza's medical and after Julie, donabel (beauty), and gina's (wacky) and other's interview... Maybe jennifer (sj_soulmate) will be in manila already by that time din coz she plans to have medical early may and will be staying @ her sister's place till after the interview daw sguro.

Basta wag lang tayo masyado late coz it will be our interview the following day rin... dinner will probably be ok... if malayo na for others ang MOA, baka pde narin sa Robinson's or any restaurant nearby kasi di ba most of us na mga promdi, magsta-stay within that area.

Let's pray and cross our fingers na wag lagnatin si Riza after her vaccination.
