My husband and I filed our I-130 petition and were approved. They asked a bunch of questions about our relationship at that tme but did not ask to see any evidence. I am now back in the US and took the evidence proof with me. My husband has 2nd interview in a few weeks, will they still ask for it or was this part of the process taken care of at the first interview? I need to know if I need to send him the material by fedex, please advise if you know.

Reltaionship evidence is often requrested at the visa interview. Additionally, originals of any copies yoiu've submitted up to now or will submit with the visa app.

I would take as much evidence with you as possible to the interview. The embassies are known for giving wrong answers to questions like these, so better safe than sorry. I'm in the same boat down here in Quito, and I don't wnat to get denied and have to pay the fee again. Here it's 380 for the second interview, how much is it in costa rica?

dan,
That fee isn't for 'the second interview'; it's for the immigrant visa application. Everyone pays the same price in every country.

We didn't bring any to the first interview because we just overlooked that, but the guy seemed satisfied enough.
I brought tons to my second interview and they never asked for anything at all.
That was just my experience tho.
