Hello good members,

I am an American living here in the Philippines for the last 2.6 years with my wife and adopted son, who is 4.

My questions are probaly simple for you.

What forms do i need to fill out for Direct Consular Filing?

We had filed for a K-1 Visa, but it took too long and we got married here. After the K-1 came through I sent a lettrer telling them I was married and would live here for a while.

i know I have to file an I-130 and an I-134. What else do i need and what are the steps after that?

I appreciate any walk through help you have given me. This has got a little confusing for me.

Thanks,

Hello, the DCF guide which is pinned at the top of this board is comprehensive and should be of help to you.

Good luck smile.gif

Captain Marvel,

DCF is filing an I-130 petition with a US consulate (or USCIS office) oversease rather than with a USCIS Service Center in the USA.

The I-130 instructions will tell you what other forms and documents must accompany the petition, and the consulate can tell you what documentation they want to establish that you qualify for DCF with them.
