My wife is currently in the US under the K-1 Visa with an I-94 expiring on 7/11/08. I will file the AOS no later than the end of this month. In the meantime, I am getting ready to fill out the Application for a Social Security Card, but not sure which checkbox I should check for
#3 Citizenship:
U.S. Citizen (of course not this)
Legal Alien Allowed to Work
Legal Alien Not Allowed to Work
Other
According to the Step-by-Step guide on applying for a Social Security number, a K-1 Visa holder with an unexpiring I-94 is eligible to apply. But which option should I select from the list above?
