Does anyone know anything about post office boxes in Thailand? My daughter-in-law is changing jobs, so no longer has a secure address to mail important documents to. Where she is living her mail always gets opened before it gets to her. Her family lives 18 hours or so south, so that is not an option. We're all hoping for NOA IIs soon for her K-3 visa, and she'll be needing all of the official documentation.

Not sure about post boxes in Thailand, but everything your DIL will need is on their website. She will need to make sure the embassy has her case from NVC before she sends her information to them. Go to this link for the US Embassy in Bangkok. It has the packet 3 instructions and forms. It tells what has to be sent back before an interview is scheduled. It also includes instructions in Thai.

Make sure she includes "Immigrant Visa Unit" as part of the address when she sends the info to the embassy.

Your informative reply is greatly appreciated. I am a bit confused, though. Does Bangkok require the I-134 or the I-184 for the K-3 visa? One of the reason the kids cose the the K-3 is because our son wants to be able to do the long-term, more legally binding affidavit of support without having Mom and Dad sign on. He and his wife are both recent college graduates, and he expects his financial situation to greatly improve over the next year.

I did the I-134 for Rin's K3 visa. I think the other one is for IR-1/CR-1 (i.e. immigrant visa) or when someone files adjustment of status (AOS) after entering on a non-immigrant visa (K1 and K3 are non-immigrant visas).
