Okey guys i have a quick question.. my Husband went for his interview and they took the interview and everything but they asked him to take my recent 2007 tax income papers and our bangla necanama... they gave him the blue slip...they said when they drop this papers off they should also drop off the passport.. my question is do you know if they give the visa the same day or next day or do they take a very long time to review those papers and such... Even though they didn't say on the interview they need to review and didn't put him on AR, can they still put him there after turing in those tax papers...please please please help... thanks

I think it depends on your country. Sometimes they do release it the same day, other's delivers them by courier.

That is a tough question...I would say they are doing the AP now....And then when your husband goes back with the 2007 taxes and bangla necaname, they will do a quick check of the remaining docs and issue the visa the same day.

That is how it happened with us. Interview. Blue slip stating the case was under administrative processing and needs additional documents. Told to wait for the case # to appear on Consulate website. Go back, give needed documents and have visa issued same day.

Question is: Does the blue slip say 221(g) administrative processing?
