If you fill in your AOS timeline you will get an estimated date that you could expect your EAD.

EAD tends to take 90 days or so from filing the I-765 to receiving the card.

The timelines will tell you this. http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/eadlis...;op4=1&op5=

There is no emailing USCIS, you can sign up for status emails and check status here: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp

The whole process for EAD seems to be taking ~70 days right now. It seems like it is very close to 30 days after biometrics that people are receiving their approval and then about 6-8 more days to get the card.

The timelines in the feb filers thread should help.

If you don't have your green card and your 1 year EAD is going to expire within the next 90 days, then yes, you should go ahead and file for a renewal.

That timeline seems to be with the people who filed EAD along with AOS since the service center is Chicago for the bulk of them. Is there a way to research the timeline on VJ for those just filing the EAD before AOS and therefore going through our specific service centers, i.e. VSC?
