i have some awesome news to share with yall...

I got an email this morning at 4:45 am... from CRIS!!!!!!!!!!!!

that our i130 was approved. we had no touches.. last touch was 2/24/08 and now it is 4/21/08

Current Status: Approval notice sent.

On April 19, 2008, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service.



i was sleeping.. i got a TEXT MESSAGE on my phone from yahoo sayin i have an email from CRIS .. my heart started beating. i almost fell off my BED!! i ran to the compute and checkhed our email acct and WALA!!!!! an email from CRIS.. i checked the case status online and our i130 was apprvoed but NO ACTION on the i129f.. same date 2/24/08...

im s thankful to GOD! im sure eveyrone wil be getin their apprvoals soon!! i have no words.. to explain this..

i caled myhusband right away! and told him the good news.. hes so happy..i talked to my inlaws too they were EXCITED!!

im so excited i got to work and the first thing i did was wanted to inform yal! i wil post more later...

ok. so I called and did get thru to VSC and she looked up my case and was like "oh..you're a USC..so you shouldnt take long at all..." followed by..."well...they are only on july 30...so..maybe 3 or 4 more months" and yes..they have my october date and are honoring that...
THEN she said to me "but since you are a us citizen once it is approved and goes on to the NVC you should get your visa after that..."
that is not correct...
strange.

hey shrewdie its ok they are def processin dates after july 30.. remeber she tild me shwe was on aug 19 2 weeks ago.. atleast they saw ur oct date!! thank god and now im sure ur file is at the top so keep watchin ur right after me.. good luck!!

I am the very very end of october though... maybe some magic was sprinkled.
well, I know that I told you that my congressman was practically useless and couldnt care less about my life..well, my senator called him and my senator said that noone is giving up any information at all. that the VSC wasnt giving any to the congressman and the congressman wouldnt give much to my senator (guess b/c they dont know any!) and the lady told my senator "she (me) is just going to have to be patient"
and my senator said "well...exactly how much longer is she going to have to be patient"
and I thought..shew..finally someone who cares!!
he ended it with "if you dont hear something in a couple weeks let me know and I will get on it again"

Well this leaves me and Shrew to complain together now Soon Shrew will have her approval and I will complain with.......... wait..........who do I complain with I am looking forward to watching your NVC timeline, with the new online pay system sfrom start to finish AOS and IV bill, I am Assuming you have everything in order for the few few parts atleast, everything before DS 230. It wont be long and you will be with your husband and the rain becomes a rainbow.

no i didnt call... i doubt it wil be approved plus i want the Cr1.. i think i was dumb to file the i129f cuz its takin so longg at VSC.....

Congrats, about time. You do not need the K-3. With online option at the NVC, your case can be done in 2 months now. Check my time, it is moving faster than I thought.
