i came here usa since 1992 under age i never go for any school here if iam here my age is 18-19 yr i go back after few months and come back then i take reentry permit for 2 y then back after my period end before 4 or 5 months then few months i stay and go back and complete my medical degree in 2000 since i cross my age and still dont know s s r few mopnths stay and go back
2002 i stared contious in usa then only 2003 and 2005 i go for couple of less than 6 months outside i pay all taxes in bwt 1999 to 2007 not before i work b/c iam on and off in usa
now my lawyer tell me you have ssr i say i dont no then i reserach this my age now 32 what i do about ssr please me good sugestion and advice next month my interview .

If you look at the SS website - you will see that if you were here on a student visa you don't have to register but if you were an illegal, or permanent resident then you must register. You can contact then to find out if you can register now or not? You may need to ask your lawyer - what you can do now if you skipped ssr in error. Good Luck

What motu said. It's "if you were in the US before your 26th bday in a status OTHER THAN lawful non-immigrant." So if you were here legally on a non-immigrant visa (tourist, student, etc.) you didn't have to register. If you were here on an immigrant visa, as a permanent resident, or illegally, then you needed to register.

It appears that you were a LPR during the time you were supposed to register with selective service. You are not eligible for naturalization if you did not.
