I didn't know the initials CSEA, but when I google them, I come up with California State Educational Association, California Society of Enrolled Agents, California School Employees Association, and Classified School Employees Association. I probably missed a few more possibilities. So you he might want to spell out the name, and put (labor union) in parentheses, if that sounds appropriate for his circumstances.
