My husband is coming to the US for the first time and it is also his first time flying so I
am nervous for him. He can either fly into Miami or Dallas, which airport do you think he might
have the least hassles at immigration with?

Well I came in through Dallas and it was easy last October.

I have heard the Miami can be very busy at times and is hard to get through. I would choose Dallas...but you never know it all depends on the CO.

I've been through Dallas several times but its always a busy airport. the first time I was here as a visitor and was interrogated as i didn't have a return ticket. Actually I was flying on a dependents pass and my ticket is classed as stand-by but it doesnt show in the system or on the boarding pass on entry.

You shouldn't have any problem at any poe if he is here on an appropriate visa or on waiverless travel, but he should always be honest.

Why do we have two exact threads in the same forum?

I think I would choose Dallas... Some of the CO's in Miami seem to be a bit unfriendly at times...
