I came to the usa on a K1 visa last june, got my green card in october 07, my 17 year old, (18 this year daughter) who i did include on my K1 didnt want to join me at the time, but is now thinking about coming here to live in the near future, since her year to follow on my K1 is up what would we need to do for this to happen. Also she would want to spend some time back in the uk as she would miss our family and her long term boyfriend. Is it ok to go back and forth after getting her green card? thanks for any help.

You or your USC spouse could file an I-130. One that is done by the USC spouse would probably be the quickest.
As a GC holder you are not restricted from leisure travel but you need to track all your out of country time when it comes to removing conditions but more importantly if the decision is ever made to become a USC.

She also should not stay outside the US for more than 6 months once she gets her green card since they might question her desire to reside in the US.

AS you married a USC before your Daughter turned 18 then the I-130 from your spouse on a step parent bases and it will take about a year to pass through the process. Good Luck and yes as Diana says make sure she does not stay ou of the country longer than 6 months at a time.

Yes she will need to go through the whole process however as a stepchild of a USC once she gets here Visa Be it CR2 or an IR1 she will get her PR card within a month or two after arrival in the US. However make sure when she goes for the interview tht she brings ( if you both are not there and even if you are ) proof of the bonifide marriage between you two. My step kids were looked at in that manner and all questions were posed to the dad becasue he went to take them to the interview. If you need more info it is under the embassy review for Bogota as far as the interview my step kids had , or if not PM and i will let you know.
