My husband now is deploying in Iraq, I've heard about the expedite thing according here and also the lady work in USCIS, she told my husband about this when he called 1-800 number. She gave my husband a number and told him to wait for response by Tuesday this week, but now we still hear nothing from them yet... Anyone has any ideas about this? and also is there anyone know the exact procedures to apply for the Military expedite for I-130 ? Are there any forms like I-130 for my husband to fill to apply for the military expedite?

Thanks so much for all answers here.

military deployment is considered a reason for a case to be expedited. How the process works I do not know other than I would recommend he contact by phone/email whatever area the petition is currently located, ie, uscis, NVC, consulate and be prepared to fax, overnight a copy of his deployment orders.
How much faster it will make the process I also cannot answer, they will still do the security checks although you would go to the front of the line.

Good luck and have him be careful. My ex-husband is in Iraq for his third tour.

Hi, we don't call the 1-800 number, we call the Military Immigration Helpline ..... you'll find the number in my signature section.
They will draft up your expedite which is done internally by the USCIS Officer who answers the calls. They are very efficient and polite. He/She will tell you everything that needs to be done. You will hear within 5 working days, and I believe you're approval is almost immediate after that, or at least within a few days after.

Failing that, there is a draft Military Expedite request somewhere within the Military Spouse thread (link for which is also on my signature section) ..... someone very kindly added it a few weeks ago. All details of how to send it are on there too.
Sorry I don't know which number the posting is, but I think it could be somewhere in the middle.

Goodluck,
Sarah x
