Hi fellow members!
My name is Nicole. I got married to my husband Dennis in Germany on Oct. 19, 2007. Since then, my husband and I have been battling immigration with the I-130 petition. As of now the case has been received and is now pending. I received my receipt in February. Here's hoping that everything goes smoothly and quickly (okay, quickly isn't an option, but smoothly would be nice). I am a U.S. citizen and my husband is a citizen of Germany. I am hoping that being around people that have gone through/are going through/or will go through the same situation I am in now will help me to be sane while my husband and I are seperated.
That's about it for now unless anyone else has some questions.
Kind regards,
Nicole

Hi,...I just recently did my two daughters I-130's through Frankfurt also... see my timeline.
It took only 2 months for our approval. But I did file in person also, so never technically got a NOA1 per se. But did get packet 3 on the day of filing, which included the instructions on medicals, and what was required for interview etc, along with a letter you fax back to the consulate when your ready for interview. But I held off on faxing back the letter saying we were ready for interview, til my hubby returned from Iraq.
Good luck with the process...oh and BTW we are on our way back to So. Cali.

Jodee, I would have loved to file in person in Frankfurt as well, but at the time I did not have a resident visa... so no chance. Anyway, things seem to be on the right track here with the CSC, it's just going to take a while. Glad to hear things went well for you, here's hoping the same for my case.
Thanks everyone for the welcome greetings.
Regards,

My husband and I celebrated our 6 month anniversary yesterday.

Yes, 12.000km apart, but that has to count for something, right? *g*
