I don't know if
Phil. 4:6-7 is what you mean.. I'm lousy at Bible memory verse, my kids could always beat me fair and square

. Anyweiz, here's 2 of the most common translations:
Philippians 4:6-7 (New Living Translation)
6 Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. 7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7 (New International Version)
6Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. It is not really what you say to God that matters in prayer but the heart of the one praying.. some people say they don't know how to pray.... I just tell them to close your eyes and try to talk to God the way you talk to the closest person to you. He doesn't need any special effects or any rituals or any material offerings or any fancy words, or loud voice or meaningless repetitions, He just needs a heart that really wants to get intimate with Him. And it is always the most beautiful thing when you can truly connect with Him and pour out everything directly to Him.
But when there are times when you feel that you don't know how to pray or that you just can't connect directly with God.. Don Moen's song "I WILL SING" could really speak to you and make you feel that you are not alone in feeling that way, a lot of Christians do feel that way from time to time. (i've felt it many times over the years and that's when i pray the hardest and that's when i cry barrels of tears while singing this song.. it is a beautiful song). And if you feel the connection with God but is still face with a very difficult nearly impossible situation then,
"GOD WILL MAKE A WAY" (still be Don Moen would be the best song to lift your spirit.
Here's the first 2 stanza of
"I WILL SING"
Lord You seem so far away. A million miles or more it feels today.
And though I haven't lost my faith, I must confess right now that it's hard for me to pray.
But I don't know what to say and I don't know where to start.
But as you give the grace with all that's in my heart.
I will sing.
I will praise even in my darkest time through the sorrow and the pain.
I will sing. I will praise.
Lift my hands to honor You because Your word is true. I will sing.
