Full Version: Bringing niece to work(for us) in US

We have a family member from the Philippines that is a US Citizen and wishes to petition for her niece to come work for her. She would legitimately be hiring the niece as a caretaker for a family member, but now comes the daunting task of figuring out the best way to petition. We'd greatly appreciate any input that you could help us with in the situation. If there are any other questions needing to be answered for clarity, then please ask. We're quite confused as to how to go about this. Again the situation is as follows.

Aunt (with sick mother in law)

Niece (needs to come to US to be employed as a caretaker by the Aunt for the Mother in law)

Everything needs to be legit and taxable, so please help us figure what the best route would be. Thank you for your time.

A niece is not a family relationship that can be sponsored.

Does she have a USC family member that can sponsor her?

No other catagory that she would fit in from what you have posted.

My advise woud be for the Aunt to look for someone locally, someone already legally present in the US.

The aunt cannot petition the niece as a family member nor can she petition her as an employee.
