We had our interview yesterday and are now in AP, our I-129F expiration date was 04/12/08. I did not apply for an extension as I read that we didn't need as long as it reached the Embassy before expiration, which it did. Now that we're on AP, is there something I need to do about this? An extension maybe? I just don't want to come out of AP and them say "oh you didn't extend your I-129F so too bad." Seems like something that might could happen.

Any ideas anyone?

Since you are in AP you do not need to worry about the expiration of the I-129F, they will automatically extend the validity.

I didn't know about this. Now I wonder if I should attempt to extend the I-129F validity date? My husband's interview is June 2, but our petition expires May 8. Should I be doing something about getting the date extended? If so, how and where do I do this?

Thanks for you help,

Deb

You don't have to do anything. They will automatically extend it.
