Hi,
Am going for my interview in Montreal next week and just wondering how far of a walk the Days Inn was and people's experiences? Also, any suggestions for what to do in Montreal to pass time? We're arriving the day before and am just really anxious to get this over with...

We booked at the Courtyard Marriott on 410 Rue Sherbrooke Ouest.....

There were not too many hotels right by the embassy according to the maps I was looking at. Some of the hotels were also crazy expensive. huh.gif

I stayed at the Days Inn. It's a fairly quick walk to the consulate, I was there in less than 10 minutes. It's nice, rooms are on the small size but it's fairly new and spotless. Didn't really have time to check anything else out. The front desk was fine with holding my bag while I had my interview. The room was a tad on the expensive side but it was the start of the Jazz festival so I imagine any hotel would be at max price.
