My fiance just called USCIS.
We've been wondering since our approved case has not reached NVC. Been 4 weeks. Yet we were more surprised with the anwer of the representative. I wonder if they knew what they were talking about. They said it's directly forwarded to the US embassy in Jakarta.
Anyone who got case directly forwarded to US embassy??
Pls let us know since we're wondering what's goin on!
Frustrating wait..

The sent your adjustment of status application (I-485) to the embassy, I am not following you here, you posted this to the adjustment of status forum.

Who did you call? USCIS or NVC?

USCIS in many cases assume you are not aware that NVC is were the petition goes THROUGH to go to the consulate, they typically will say that "The Petition has been sent on to the Consulate" they neglect to say "Through NVC". NVC does some administrative review, and assigns a case number and then sends it on to the consulate.
