I submitted an inquiry to NVC and this is what they said. Does it mean it is not normal to have one month delay since NOA2? My case was stuck in CSC. Pls give me your insights VJers thanks!

Good day,
The National Visa Center has received your inquiry regarding(WAC08048xxxxx). After searching our records, no information was foundregarding this case. Please contact U.S. Citizenship and ImmigrationServices (CIS- formerly known as INS) to verify the status of thispetition.

CSC is absolutely ridiculous lately not only in it's slower than slow approvals of the 129-F petitions, but to now add another month on top in the delay getting them sent out to NVC! Unbelieveable!

It took them 2 1/2 weeks to enter my RFE receipt in...now in a call today the customer rep said it could take another 30- 45 days to make a decision!

Looks to me like if your case was touched on April 8th...that means your case is still in CA.....

When will it end?

It means your case is still at CSC. I would not consider it a dealy, I think you are still in what is considered a normal time frame from CSC to NVC. Lately, petitions usually take one month or a little over a month to get to the NVC.

But don't worry, once your petition gets to the NVC it will be quickly sent to the Embassy.

Hang in there you'll hear from the NVC soon smile.gif

I can't believe it! Man I am soo worried that my case is still stuck, since DHL won't take so long to mail stuff from CSC to NVC I suppose?

thanks for your encouragement. what makes me worried is that I already heard from two people who got an approval after me. their cases had already been assigned case numbers, and one of them has been sent to embassy. ridiculous!

anyways, how did ur interview go? i am sure u passed!

I know how you feel! It is so frustrating when other people's cases go faster than yours sad.gif Same thing happened to us with NOA1, everyone else seemed to be getting theirs in a week or so and ours took almost 1 month!

My interview is next month, hopefully everything will go fine, I'm starting to get nervous!
Have you checked your case status on the USCIS website lately? If you have any touch after the approval, it could be of the date when they sent the petition to the NVC.

Keep us posted.
