Hi xichdu, congratulations! Did you pay Both fees (AOS Fee and IV Fee) online? NVC got my AOS payment on the 2nd, as of today, is not processed. So this is great news, I can pay my IV Bill online now. Were you aBle to generate the coversheet after you paid the Bill online?

I believe now we don't have to wait for IV Fee Bill to come in mail if we choose to pay via online.
I guess we can just check NVC Automated Message and when message reflects that "IV Fee Bill Generated" we can reuse IIN from AOS Fee bill or request from the NVC Telephone Operator and pay via online.
Let me know of your thoughts. We can update

I think after your payment is accepted you can print the cover sheet and send your documents to NVC without using Jame's shortcut to creat cover sheet. You dont need jame's shortcut for those steps but choice of agent. You dont need to call NVC again because you pay by via online.

So are you saying that, when you pay I-864 (AOS) Fee Bill online, then upon payment you can print cover sheet for I-864 with barcode included and immediately send I-864 Form and Supporting Documents?
IV Fee bill don't need to send any documents with it so when you pay IV Fee Bill online then you can print DS-230 Coversheet online and Send DS-230 with Supporting Documents.
Let's hope that this is true.

I this this would be ideal way but I think that since Online Payment is handled via Department of Treasury (NOT NVC) through the Immigrant Visa Invoice Payment Center they would not have integrated both systems. Not only that but NVC doesn't even have online case tracking system yet

Spoke too soon again. Tried to continue to the receipt page and a database error occurred. It kicked me out, I had to log back in and the screen shows a payment status of not paid. Now since it said that they already requested the money from my bank, I hope that they don't get the money and not record it as being paid!

Yeah, unfortunately mine says NOT PAID. The AOS fee bill is there and listed as paid as I paid that via James's Shortcuts so the box is grayed out. I ticked the box for just the IV bill, put in all my info and got the confirmation screen, but when I clicked 'Continue to Receipt' is when I got the database error. Luckily I saved the one in a screen shot so I still have the pay.gov tracking ID. I'm going to register over there and see what the deal is with the payments. Clicking through this in vain 10x or so can add up to a lot of money being taken out of my account if that's what it's really doing!! Maybe this is only an issue for those who have already paid their AOS fee bill by mail?

Warning to those of you considering this. I just called Pay.gov with the tracking ID I captured from the confirmation page. Even though the system crapped out on me, the payment did go through on their end, so now the NVC's system shows me as NOT paid, even though the money is now coming out of my account. Subsequently, the system makes you think that it never went through so it will let you pay AGAIN, which I did erroneously just to have the system crap out again after the confirmation screen. So now I've paid the Department of State $800 and I cannot stop it. I'll have to check with my bank to see if they can order a stop payment which will likely cost me $30 on their end and probably another $30 on the NVC's end for a bounced electronic debit due to the stop payment. Or I can attempt to get the NVC to refund me $400 and then wait for them to send me a cheque in the mail! All this with the IV bill still not showing up as paid! Consider yourself warned!

Hi
Will they give me the invoce # over the phone?
If not, is the invoice # on the AOS fee the same for the IV fee?
After paying the fees and the payment is processed , what do i do? will they send me the barcoded sheets or am I going to be able to print them from their website?
Can i send in the AOS packect and DS-230 and documents right sfter payment is processed or do i have to wait until they are generated?
Thanks

This has happened to me multiple times during online purchases and payments. I call the bank and tell them that there was a error and they don't stop payment they just credit me the amount back pending I have a request come from vendor to reverse the money back into my account. I have WAMU, their really cool about that stuff. So what you'd have to do is get incontact with either NVC or whoever is taking the money and have them reverse the charge. May take a bit of work when dealing with NVC but you'll get your money back.
Until then, this online payment system sounds freakishly crazy and I just advise people to wait til NVC says its working correctly. They keep telling everyone that its not up yet for a reason, sounds like its in BETA mode and they are testing out the kinks...which is why some get thru some dont and some get multiple payments taken without their knowledge.

I called the bank pretty much right away (within the hour) and they stated that if it's ACH that there's not really much they could do. They could issue a stop payment charging me $32 but that I'd have a 99% chance of it not doing anything and I'd still get charged the $32. They told me after it posts that I could dispute the charge.
The payments are processed by a third party,
http://www.pay.gov whom I contacted first. On the confirmation screen for the NVC payment system a pay.gov tracking number appears. Calling them they could track the payment. Apparently the payment goes through quite quickly and even though I had them on the phone within 20 minutes, it wasn't soon enough for them to stop it. They told me to contact my bank or the NVC. The number they had for the NVC is the same number that we use to check the automated system. I suppose I'll have to call them once it actually posts to my bank account. I'll check the online system at that time to see if they register it as being paid. Hopefully it will and this won't delay my case. I'm worried that this will not be taken care of by the time the paper IV bill arrives in the mail, in which case attempting this online payment has at least effectively delayed the processing of my case.

It will eventually be on the AOS fee bill they mail you, but mine which was sent on the 3rd didn't have my IIN on it. I had to call on 4 different days to get it. I basically told them that I know the system wasn't up yet but I'd like to have it anyway so I could keep trying until they launch the system. Now of course I wish I would have just sat tight having been charged $400 2x and having the online system tell me that I never paid (not in process or paid). You may have better luck since you haven't already paid your AOS fee bill by mail, but just so you know that there are potential risks to using it!

I also talked to two different operators but both of them wouldn't give me my IIN even though my IV Bill was already generated. They stated that the number is not showing in the system yet for some reason. Well, I'll just keep on trying later with different operator.

In case anyone is curious, the transactions posted to my bank account today as pending so this confirms that they took $400 out of my account twice. The NVC online payment system still shows "NOT PAID" and not in process or paid. I called the NVC about having them refund the one payment and entering the other. The person really didn't know how to answer as they were only trained to tell everyone that the online payment system isn't up yet and may be available in the future but for now the only accepted form of payment is by cashiers cheque or money order via the mail. I told him the system must be at least somewhat up because it took money from my account .. twice, but the payment isn't being reflected. I was put on hold for a bit and they spoke with a supervisor. I have to wait for the payment to clear completely, get my bank to print out something showing that two payments were made electronically (via ACH) to them, mail it to them (or email as an attachment) to a supervisor's address. Hopefully they'll be able to credit the one payment and they'll either add that to the online payment screen or generate my DS-230 package and I can just use the shortcuts again for that part, and of course hopefully they'll refund my extra $400 soon! What a mess this online payment thing is turning out to be for me!
