We sent our petition out on Saturday April 5th and it was received at Vermont on April 8th at 12.34pm. How long do they take to cash the check as having read most other people's timelines they generally cash it within the following day or too.

Obviously we are a little concerned as we want the process to go as quick as possible with Megan being pregnant. Does anyone have any advice on if we can contact USCIS (and how to) or if we should re-send the petition?

It can sometimes take up to a couple of weeks for the check to be cashed.
Vermont is generally faster than California so you are lucky there.
I wouldn't resent it...it was received by Vermont, it's there. Give it a little bit more time for them to get to it.

Patience is huge during this process...you'll need lots of it.
