Hi this is me Diana, going crazy and more, I got married to Adil in Morocco on April 11th 2007, I sent in petiton to USCIS . Cali Service center at the end of April with the $355 fee they asked for. It was rec'd on Aug 27th, by Oct 4th they filed the fiance, both petitions were approved on March 12th 2008, I am growling here it is taking so long gerrrrrrrrrrrr, I called the NVC hotline ( hah yeah right) on April 12th 1 month after approval, it has not been received yet!! blink.gif Does NVC mail the DS 230 bill again to me for $355 again , what does USCIS do with the money I already sent? or do they just have Adil fill out the paper and send it from Morocco to NVC? I realize I will get the AOS fee bill for $70 and have to wait for Adil to send the signed affidavit that he is the agent back to me, but I am confused about payig $355 twice, nowhere in any discussion on any place on the net can I find the answer. I hope someone can clear this up for me. I think after reading all kinds of posts it is usually about 4 months from approval from USCIS to case being complete and interview granted, is this correct? We celebrated our 1 year anniversary on cam and mic staring at each other growling about the length of time immigrations takes and how they do not care if hearts get broken, am I alone in this???? sorry for venting, please help my muddled mind, thanks, Diana

The policy since November 2006 has been to hold the I-130 petition and only forward the I-129F to NVC. So unless USCIS violated that policy, your I-130 will never go to NVC and there will never be an IV fee bill or any other bill from NVC. You are on the K3 path. Follow the step by step guide for K3.

at least you got approved.. don't be sad.. there are others worse off.. you two will be together soon.. just call back to NVC to see if they received it or not.. whistling.gif keep bugging them like I do.. that's how I got put back on the list again.. haha.. I got touches for my case on April 11 and April 13 on the USCIS website too.. good.gif a good start, but not enough.. I'm going to push more if the "touches" stop this week..

You don't get chagerd $355 twice.
