For an update on our AR due to document verification, the Manila Embassy is finally going to resubmit the document to the National Statistics Organization (NSO). On April 2, Grace at the consulate office, changed her story to our verification was not sent till the last week of February and since it has been over a month she would send a request to the person in charge of verifications. This story aligns with what Lorraine had told me and the fact they tried to collect thr doc verification fee a second time at the interview.

However, on April 7th I received word from Senator Durbin's office that the Embassy is resending the document for verification. Since there was a weekend envolved this information came two working days later. It makes you wonder, doesn't it? I am hoping they put a pink sticker on the document this time for quicker processing.

For those not familiar with our case, the document verification fee was paid and confirmed with DELBROS on January 7th. The interview was on February 6th. As of April 3rd, we became the longest delayed Vjer on document verification. April 16 will be 10 weeks since the interview.

The process is full of bugs or poorly run, whichever choice of words you prefer. headbonk.gif

Anyone else have any updates?

I really do not know, but from what I deduced from roserick's post last week, I would say they are still waiting too. Roserick has not posted much after the interview.

Even though this process is way too long, I feel for jimbob and his wife being delayed for 8 months because of the medical.

Pls know that though you do not know me, I do include you and all the others stuck in AR in my prayers. And I do hope and pray that it will not be long for you now. Hold on tight and keep HOPE & FAITH alive.

Never let go of hope. One day you will see that it all has finally come together. What you have always wished for has finally come to be. You will look back and laugh at what has passed and you will ask yourself... 'How did I get through all of that?

God be your constant source of strength. rose.gif
