Just curious...

oops...maybe you were there studying AND working...but now it's too late to change the poll. If you were there to work AND study - please give your MAIN reason for being there.

What if you met while doing study abroad, but already knew them from some other online contact, but prior to that barely had a friendship, let alone a relationship, and only called them out of sheer and utter desperation?

That came a few hours later when I was drunk off my arse. At the time I called though, I was really, really, really pissed and frustrated and pissed off again.

What is the deal with people starting a poll that we can't possibly vote? Because you only give options that would fit you? Does it lack you brain to put some thought to the subject? Or are u way too damn bored you don't give a damn ther poll is flawed and only half the people can vote? Why even bother start another brainless poll?

Are you for real???
It's just a poll on the internet.
Oh, and since I don't understand your sentence above (the one in bold), I'll have to answer that I don't have a damn that 1/2 the people (or more) can vote.

Working for us
Justin and I were working for the same company, different branches. He got assigned on a one month project to Buenos Aires. We fell in love...and a year and a few trips later...we were married.
Friday is our 6 months anniversary

it must suck not being able to understand your own language, even when someone doesn't speak it perfectly. I hope your husband speaks perfect english, so you can always understand him, since you can't understand people that speak in a manner that is just not 100% american perfect.

Relax, it's just a poll. You can make another one if you feel left out. That was not my intention.

wow im ALWAYS amazed how some people come to VJ just to complain about EVERYTHING! When someone posts in the wrong forum, they complain, if someone asks a question that was asked 2 days prior, they complain...in this case its just a fun poll...now get over it!

But back to the poll....I came to the states as a Student and thats when i met my SO. Ive been here for 5 years on my f-1 visa and in June i will be returning home to start the K-1 Visa.

WTF? What is your problem anyway?
Anyway, I was working at an International School in Italy when I met my husband. But he was Moroccan working in Italy, so there's not really a poll option for us.

Maybe we need to start a poll about polls that exclude the VJ majority.
I suggest we put them in a dedicated polls subforum.

Nessa calm down. It's
just a poll and your response is way OTT. Saying the OP is lacking a brain is out of line.

I'm glad to see that people are leaving messages and PMing me about that uncalled for response. Of course I didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings.
I don't mind that she said I don't have a brain because obviously I DO and she doesn't know me.
It's cool to see people studying/working abroad, then meeting their SOs.
